Used office furniture can be a great way to save money on your new office. However, there are some things to look for when buying used furniture.

Chairs - make sure the wheels still roll smoothly and it still gives good support. Check to see that all the adjustment knobs are working

Desks & Tables - check for scratched and broken parts. Be sure to pull out all drawers to make sure they are in good condition. If the desk is real wood, scratches can be sanded out.

Bookshelves - check to make sure each shelf is steady and can hold items firmly

Filing cabinets - check each drawer to make sure they don't jam. Check for scratches and dents

Presentation boards - make sure that they erase properly and that they have hooks for hanging still in place
