Our experience with San Diego Office and Modular Design was quite atypical. Not only did Delinda help us select just the right new and used furniture, but she also translated our floor plan into a format the tenant improvement architect requested. As we neared moving day, the construction superintendent realized that a new California regulation regarding electrical distribution was going to affect the circuits in our cubicles. On very short notice, SDO&MD sent Vicente over to the site for several hours to be briefed by the electrician on the new requirements. He passed along all the necessary info to his installers, so Mundo and Tim were well-prepared to perform a fast and thorough installation. Our planning and move were made smoother because of the excellent customer service that SDO&MD provided!

Our experience at SD Office has been wonderful so far!
We were initially very stressed about the delivery timeframe of the furniture we intended to order. We had gone so far as to consider our decision be made around the delivery time of certain vendors, instead of what we preferred atheistically. However, Amy suggested that we take advantage of their loaner program and furnish our office with temporary desks and chairs until our custom ordered furniture arrived. We were thrilled by this option and it set our experience off on a great note!
We brought a layout of our new office space with us to SD Office and Amy was extremely intentional and helpful from the moment she said hello. She immediately began annotating the layout, and suggested several furniture manufacturer options that carried the styles and stains that we liked. She was very candid in her opinions about the various options, and we did not feel pressured into making any decisions. We are also very visual people and she allowed us the liberty of rearranging the showroom so we could picture our potential layout! Overall, we have been very impressed by both Amy and SD Office as a whole. We will certainly utilize the company in the future!

My company was looking for a new reception desk. Once we found the style we liked we contacted San Diego Office & Modular Design. Their price was a bit higher but they immediately matched the lower price I had found else where.
When the desk arrived, the workers noticed the glass front was broken. They apologized for the inconvenience and promptly put in a call to re-order the broken piece. Within about a week, we had the new part and the desk was assembled. However, once the reception desk was completely assembled, we noticed the dimensions were not what we expected. Vincent and the team at SDOMD quickly offered a solution of cutting down the desk return to provide more room. We were hesitant at first but Vince assured us that he was very comfortable making adjustments and had done so many times in the past. So, for an additional fee we had the desk cut down to size and it fits our reception area perfectly now. I would recommend San Diego Office & Modular Design because their customer service skills are top notch. They do more than just sale furniture. When faced with delimmas, they provide solutions.
We are extremely pleased with the work Vince and his partner did today. It makes such a huge difference. It gives us so much more room upon entry. Our entry way now meets all the recommended building codes and regulations. I’ve enclosed a few pictures so you can see the results. Thank you so much for helping us get this completed.
